Share the love of Jesus by providing warm coats and the hope of the gospel to those in need. N.C. Baptists are on mission together as the hands and feet of Jesus by collecting coats throughout the year and distributing them to those in need in New York City. Join with others as we partner with South Carolina Baptists and the Metropolitan New York Baptist Association in this incredible service opportunity.
How can we help? Collect Coats and bring to the GCCBA office by October 28th or collect money to purchase new coats. Checks can be made out to GCCBA with Coats for the City in the Memo line.
Take a Team to New York City Register a team to come to New York City to help distribute coats in December. Teams will be accepted on a first come, first served basis, with a preference of 6-8 people per team maximum. If more than eight people want to participate, please plan on dividing the team and registering them as two teams. Volunteer teams are responsible for arranging their own transportation and housing, including covering the cost. We ask that all volunteer teams try to collect 30 coats per member, if possible.
