The Greater Cleveland County Baptist Association is a network of eighty-three Baptist churches in Cleveland County, North Carolina. We began in 1851 as the Kings Mountain Baptist Association. Our history can be in found in “Visions Of Faith,” by Lansford Jolley. There are copies of this book at our office.
We exist to “Unite Congregations in Effective Missions and Ministry.”
Our main purpose is to resource and support our churches by encouraging pastors and staff, and training church leaders. We provide regular training and resources for pastors, staff and church leaders. For training videos and other resources, visit our Resources page.
For upcoming events, visit our Events page.
We also unite our congregations in compassion ministry. Our office has a community assistance office. We provide assistance with clothing, food, and some other needs. Visit our Emergency Relief Services page for more information. Our churches donate resources and volunteer to help with this office. For more information on how to volunteer and to fill our an application, visit our Volunteer Opportunities page.
Our office also creates mission partnerships to offer short term mission trips at home and abroad. For more information, visit our Mission Opportunities page.
